Janet Case, PDG et co-fondatrice,
a obtenue un MBA à Stanford après avoir vendu sa première société. Avant de fonder Proxio, Janet a été la PDG de deux des plus grandes Associations d’agences immobilières aux Etats-Unis, qui fournissaient des services à plus de 7500 agents dans des centaines d’agences. Elle a également créée une société immobilière en ligne et participé à la direction de divers SIA (MLS) de la Silicon Valley. Une investisseuse immobilière depuis plus de 30 ans, Janet a accrut sa connaissance du milieu en passant une année à chercher les besoins et les habitudes des agents immobiliers étrangers.
Auparavant, Janet a tenu des rôles de direction de haut niveau dans des sociétés du Fortune 500, Varian Associates ou encore Tencor Instruments, où elle était en charge du marketing international pour l’Europe, l’Asie, l’Amérique du Nord et du Sud ainsi que du lancement mondial des nouveaux produits. Janet est également une oratrice reconnue dans les conférences de l’industrie et de d’associations immobilières, notamment au sujet de l’internationalisation des pratiques immobilières et de la construction de réseaux professionnels à travers le monde.
Peter Spicer, Directeur Technique et co-fondateur,
est un des 10 meilleurs ingénieurs aux Etats-Unis, au niveau de la conception ainsi que la gestion des services d’informations immobilières. Il a crée le 4ème plus gros SIA aux Etats-Unis, RE Infolink à la Silicon Valley. Peter a participé à la réalisation de Standards de Transaction Immobilière pour l’industrie immobilière américaine. Il a été l’architecte en chef du projet complexe de partage de données pour les SIA dans la baie de San Francisco. Avant de co-fonder Proxio Peter a contrôlé le développement de logiciel pendant plus de 20 ans dans des sociétés de technologie de la Silicon Valley, dans les semi-conducteurs, les dispositifs médicaux et les industries de services juridiques. Peter a un degré de BS/MS en informatique et en ingénierie informatique.
Larry Knapp, Executive Vice President,
Larry is a real estate Industry veteran who brings 30 years of experience to Proxio’s global team. Larry is the former president of residential brokerages Alain Pinel Realtors and Coldwell Banker Northern California. In addition to running two of the largest US residential brokerage firms, Knapp has a deep and well-rounded background in organized real estate. He is on the Board of Directors of the California Association of Realtors, and served for seven years on the board of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), where he was appointed to NAR’s Executive Committee in 2008 and 2009. Knapp is also a board member and past chairman of MLSListings, Inc., one of the largest US Multiple Listing Services, and is a past president of the Sacramento Association of Realtors.
Robert Spicer, Vice President, Global Development
Robert is an international commercial and intellectual property lawyer qualified in the US and as a solicitor England and Wales. In addition to his legal background, he held senior positions in Fortune 500 companies responsible for business strategy and new market development. Robert has a wealth of experience with startup and larger organizations. He helped to develop a Silicon Valley startup from inception through to an IPO on Nasdaq, and served as Executive Vice President, International Development for the leading startup incubator, GorillaPark, where he also served as Managing Director for 6 of its international business units.
Kate Gerwe, Chief Marketing Officer,
Kate is a seasoned marketing and business development executive with 20 years experience in Fortune 50 companies and start-ups, with deep experience in online services. Kate has successfully led and grown marketing teams at Yahoo, Netscape, and AOL, and helped grow Yahoo Broadband business from $50M to $200M and from 1M to 10M subscribers in a three year period. Kate holds BA and MBA degrees from Stanford University.
