Janet Case, Amministratore delegato e cofondatore,
ha ottenuto un MBA all’universita’ di Stanford dopo la vendita della sua prima azienda. Prima di fondare Proxio, Janet e’ stata amministratore delegato di due delle piu’ grandi associazioni immobiliari degli Stati Uniti; contemporaneamente ha fornito servizi a oltre 7500 agenti in centinaia di agenzie; e’ stata anche alla guida di un’azienda immobiliare ed ha partecipato alla direzione della MLS nella Silicon Valley. Investitore immobiliare da oltre 30 anni, Janet ha sviluppato una maggiore conoscenza nel campo grazie a un anno di ricerca sui bisogni e le pratiche delle agenzie immobiliari estere.
Janet ha assunto ruoli manageriali per le compagnie Varian Associates e Tencor Instruments, entrambe presenti nella lista Fortune 500[1] ; tra le sue responsabilita’ c’era quella di curare il marketing internazionale per l’Europa, l’Asia, il Nord e il Sud America, e lanciare nuovi prodotti su scala mondiale. E’ rinomato, nel settore immobiliare, l’interesse di Janet sul tema dell’internazionalizzazione delle pratiche immobiliari e sulla creazione di una rete di contatti professionali.
Peter Spicer, Direttore di Ricerca e Sviluppo e cofondatore,
e’ uno tra i migliori 10 tecnologi per la progettazione e gestione dei servizi d’informazione immobiliare. Peter ha fondato, nella Silicon Valley, ReInfoLink - la quarta MLS piu’ grande degli Stati Uniti. Ha inoltre partecipato alla creazione del RETS (Real Estate Transaction Standard) per l’industria immobiliare statunitense ed e’ stato ingegnere capo di un complesso schema di condivisione dati per le MLS della Bay Area. Prima di diventare cofondatore di Proxio, Peter ha diretto, per oltre 20 anni, lo sviluppo di applicazioni mission-critical per aziende tecnologiche della Silicon Valley, nelle industrie dei semiconduttori; dei prodotti medicali e dei servizi legali. Peter e’ laureato in informatica e in ingegneria informatica.
Larry Knapp, Executive Vice President,
Larry is a real estate Industry veteran who brings 30 years of experience to Proxio’s global team. Larry is the former president of residential brokerages Alain Pinel Realtors and Coldwell Banker Northern California. In addition to running two of the largest US residential brokerage firms, Knapp has a deep and well-rounded background in organized real estate. He is on the Board of Directors of the California Association of Realtors, and served for seven years on the board of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), where he was appointed to NAR’s Executive Committee in 2008 and 2009. Knapp is also a board member and past chairman of MLSListings, Inc., one of the largest US Multiple Listing Services, and is a past president of the Sacramento Association of Realtors.
Robert Spicer, Vice President, Global Development
Robert is an international commercial and intellectual property lawyer qualified in the US and as a solicitor England and Wales. In addition to his legal background, he held senior positions in Fortune 500 companies responsible for business strategy and new market development. Robert has a wealth of experience with startup and larger organizations. He helped to develop a Silicon Valley startup from inception through to an IPO on Nasdaq, and served as Executive Vice President, International Development for the leading startup incubator, GorillaPark, where he also served as Managing Director for 6 of its international business units.
Kate Gerwe, Chief Marketing Officer,
Kate is a seasoned marketing and business development executive with 20 years experience in Fortune 50 companies and start-ups, with deep experience in online services. Kate has successfully led and grown marketing teams at Yahoo, Netscape, and AOL, and helped grow Yahoo Broadband business from $50M to $200M and from 1M to 10M subscribers in a three year period. Kate holds BA and MBA degrees from Stanford University.
